5x7 Art Sale

The third annual 5x7 Art Sale returns to the Tin District on Saturday, January 24! The Art Sale features 100+ works by artists, Booker T. students, faculty and alums - all priced at $100. The event is free and open to the public, and all proceeds benefit the Visual Arts Conservatory.

At the 5x7 Art Sale all donated work is hung anonymously. Every masterpiece is displayed without a signature — no hints, no labels, no giveaways. Is your favorite piece the work of a seasoned professional or a student genius in disguise? Trust your eyes and your instincts. Buy what you love and only after you purchase your piece do you discover the artist’s identity. Think of it as speed-dating with art — fall in love first, find out who later!

Student submissions are due November 21. Any piece not selected for the sale will be returned before winter break. There is no cost for students to participate - frames and displays will be provided - but you must provide all artist information to be considered.
