Some quick reminders before Pegasus Pick Up, senior headshots, Flight School and Parent University:

Monday, July 31: Freshmen Pegasus Pick Up (Last Name A-M: 8:30-11:30 a.m. Last Name N-Z: 1:30-4:30 p.m.)
Tuesday, August 1: Sophomores Pegasus Pick Up (8:30-11:30 a.m.) & Juniors Pegasus Pick Up (1:30-4:30 p.m.)
Wednesday, August 2: Seniors Pegasus Pick Up (Last Name A-M: 8:30-11:30 a.m. Last Name N-Z: 1:30-4:30 p.m.) & Senior Headshots
Friday, August 4: Flight School for students only, 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Friday, August 4: Parent University for all parents/guardians, 12-2 p.m. with class break-out sessions, including a senior parent meeting, from 1-2 p.m.
Monday, August 7: Faculty Breakfast, 7-9 a.m.
Tuesday, August 8: Freshman FYI, 6 p.m.
Monday, August 14: School starts, 9:10 a.m.

Some Pegasus Pick Up tips:

Please complete DISD registration before Pegasus Pick Up.
Plan to be at school 1-2 hours.
Bring cash or a checkbook - some of the stops involve payment.
The staff takes a lunch break from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. so you may not be able to start the process during that time.
All students will start in the Black Box Theatre on the second floor of the historic building. You'll get a number and wait in the Black Box until called. You'll make a series of stops in the historic building before stopping at the Visual Arts Conservatory table in the first floor studio where you'll meet with the conservatory director and the Visual Arts Guild.
Students will take student ID and yearbook photos during Pegasus Pick Up. Seniors take senior headshots.
Park on the street or the paid flat lot behind St. Paul United Methodist Church. Do not park in the horseshoe drive or the faculty lot.
You can skip some stops by joining the PTSA, paying into your student funds, and joining the Visual Arts Guild ahead of time.

Parents and students are needed to volunteer:

During Pegasus Pick Up (July 31-August 2)
At the Faculty Breakfast on Monday, August 7 from 7-9 a.m.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

Seniors have only two chances to take senior headshots - Wednesday, August 2 and Tuesday, August 22.
Anyone who joins the PTSA and the Visual Arts Guild before September 4 is eligible for a Pegasus Prize Package with merchandise, All-School Musical tickets and concessions, and a $100 gift card to the Playwright Pub.
