The second day of auditions is Saturday, February 8. Thank you to Tiffany Bennett, Handey Oddo, Lucina Ortiz, Ana Palacios, Jennifer and Joshua Rice, and Mark and Gina Pavon for their donations and support throughout auditions.
Juan Cruz's solo exhibit "A Love Letter To ..." has been extended until February 15 at Art on Main. There is an artist talk on Saturday, February 8 from 6:30-8 p.m. Get details on the exhibit and February 8 reception on the Art on Main website.
The opening reception for Senior Show #2 is Thursday, February 20. Volunteers and snack donations are appreciated. Mark your calendars for these upcoming receptions:
The Latino Cultural Center has volunteer and paid internship opportunities for its Spring Break Camp and various festivals and workshops throughout the year. Complete the form online for details.
Art on Main has a call for art for its upcoming exhibit Shelter - A Sense of Place. All artists are welcome to submit a 2D or 3D piece that explores the idea of shelter in all its broad range of forms. The call closes May 24. See the Art on Main website for details.
The next Visual Arts Guild meeting will be virtual on Wednesday, February 12 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We'll have info on spring events, updates from current officers and committee chairs, and information on volunteer needs and opportunities for 2025-26. You don't have to be a guild member to join the meeting.
