Good afternoon Visual Arts parents, students and supporters! 

Welcome back - we hope everyone had a restful fall break. We don't have events scheduled for the last week in November, but here are some updates and reminders for December.

• Thursday, December 7: The National Art Honor Society reception is from 5-7 p.m. At 7 p.m. the Music Conservatory hosts Shredstock, an epic guitar show that features classical, jazz, country, rock and hip hop. Get tickets and merchandise on the Music Guild website.
• Tuesday, December 12: Our December guild meeting is at 7 p.m. (following the PTSA meeting at 6 p.m.) We hope you will join us for a small holiday celebration as we wrap our Booker T Angel family gifts. Wrapping supplies, holiday treats (and some surprises!) will be provided.
• Wednesday, December 13 - Friday, December 15: The Visual Arts Winter Market is from 12:40-1:30 p.m. throughout the Zero Floor (and the Green Room, weather permitting).
• Friday, December 15: Strut is an annual fundraiser for the Dance Conservatory where students from all conservatories showcase their fashion creativity. Shows are at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. 
• December 18: There are a few items left on our Booker T Angels wishlist. Volunteers are needed to help on location Monday, December 18.

The school is conducting an inventory of student MacBooks on November 29-30. Students will bring their MacBook laptop and/or Chromebook with charger to the library during their English classes. If your student is unable to bring their MacBook on 11/29-30, email Ms. Ivenskaya to make other arrangements.

Students will take ACPs Tuesday, December 19 - Friday, December 22. These will also be early release days. Look for the release schedule soon. 

• Students return to school on Tuesday, January 9. There is no school Monday, January 15.
