Good evening Visual Arts students, parents and supporters! We hope everyone is enjoying the break. Read on for news and details on events in the 3+ weeks until winter break.

COLLEGE SHOWCASE

Thank you to the Visual Arts Conservatory students and faculty and the guild volunteers who supported Showcase! It was an amazing event that connected our students with teachers, professionals and college reps through master classes, portfolio reviews and the College Fair. Special thanks to Tiffany Bennett, Jodi Carlton, Jennifer Duffy, Danielle King, Karmin Lane, Kelly Martin, Sheila Lewicki, Britt Piburn, Beth Rainey and Christy Black!

SENIOR PHOTO - DECEMBER 4

REMINDER: The senior panoramic photo will be taken on campus on Wednesday, December 4 at 12:15 p.m.

NAHS RECEPTION - DECEMBER 12

The National Art Honor Society exhibit will be on view through the semester. Our newest National Art Honor Society members will be inducted on Thursday, December 12 during the exhibit reception, which is free and open to the public. We need 1-2 volunteers to help at the reception.

VISUAL ARTS WINTER MARKET - DECEMBER 11-13

Support the Visual Arts students at the Winter Market Wednesday-Friday, December 11-13, 12-1:30 p.m. throughout the Zero Floor. Visitors are welcome but be sure to check in at the visitor entrance off Routh Street.

BOOKER T ANGELS

Every December, the BTW Student Council celebrates the holiday season by collecting wish lists from five families at H.I. Holland Elementary School. A celebration is hosted for the families at the school to receive the gifts and holiday decorations collected by the PTSA and conservatory guilds. At the PTSA meeting on Thursday, December 5, StuCo will share more information about the program and upcoming opportunities to volunteer and donate.

December 9-13: 10-Minute Play Festival, Black Box Theatre, 6-8:30 p.m.
December 11-12: Grand Concert, MAT, 7 p.m.
December 13: STRUT, Black Box, 7-9 p.m.

Note that December 17-20 are early release days. Students are dismissed at 1:25 p.m.

5X7 NEWS

CALLING ALL ARTISTS! We are looking for artists to donate a 5x7 artwork (or 2) in their favorite medium for our second annual 5x7 Art Sale.
