Please plan to attend the 5x7 Art Sale on Thursday, January 16. The event is free and open to the public so bring your family and friends. We'll have complimentary light bites, drinks for purchase, music from Booker T's WIMEC and ART! There will be 100+ pieces of art from artists, Booker T faculty, students and alums - all hung anonymously and sold for $100. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the Art Sale begins at 8 p.m. If you are interested in purchasing art, you won't want to be late!
The Art Sale is a fun, fast-paced event and we need volunteers to help it go smoothly. If you can volunteer in the afternoon (4:30-6:30 p.m.), we need help setting up the space. If you can volunteer in the evening (6:30-9 p.m.), we need extra hands to sell drink tickets, process payments, package art, refill food and soft drinks, and clean up. Students are encouraged to sign up but only adult volunteers can process payments.
